Roughly 13" across and 5 1/2" deep -- I'll measure it and get exact measurements here. It's ready to go. Will work for bread, rolls since the base is domed to prevent too much weight on the rolls in the bottom. Works for fruit since the dome allows air circulation for longer life of fresh fruit. Doily recommended to protect basket from food residue. This basket is an extension of Kari Lonning's Becoming pattern in her book The Art of Basketry.
