Wedgewood Swirl Bread Basket
This 5-rod waled basket is about 3 3/4" deep and 10" across. I will measure it and put exact numbers here. In the pictures it is sitting on a porch swing. I can make it in almost any colors that you request. It is shown here in natural and hand-dyed wedgewood blue. Domed base is to give added life to fresh fruit and to prevent compression in rolls placed in the bottom layer. Please use a paper doily or napkin to protect the basket from food residue. This basket is a combination of a domed base in Lyn Siler's book The Ultimate Basket Book and Kari Lonning's Becoming pattern in The Art of Basketry.
