The antler only appears to float. We place the antler on the 10" oak hoop, mark and drill both the hoop and the antler, and then screw the antler to the hoop. Lashing holds the tines that touch the hoop. Walnut, hunter green, moss green, cherry red, orange, gold, and natural round reed suggest a breezy day in autumn. Domed base assures stability and aeration for fruit inside it. You can make this basket using the Wind in the Wildflowers Pattern on this website. Basket is 12 1/2" at it's widest, 8 1/2" across the natural part of the base, 5" to the rim, and 8" to the top of the antler.
