Lil' Hiker Basket Pattern

This pattern makes a youth sized hiking basket. Leather, webbing, or shaker tape can be used for the harness. As you can see, the shape of my hikers is not consistent, but I'm okay with that. With an extreme belly, add full width over-stakes that you have tapered on both ends to strengthen the two front corners. The first picture has an ash grip and the last one has a leather grip. If the basket is to hang on it's grip, I recommend the ash one.
