This gathering basket can also be used as a purse if you inserted a draw string bag. The blue and brick motif are highlighted by a large bead from Tahiti Beads.The base is 8 1/2" in diameter, walls are 9", and the rim diameter is 9". The handle is smoothly wrapped with flat oval reed and tops out at 16 1/2" above the table. The bead is discreetly wired onto the basket, glued, and then bound about with round reed.
